Investment Analyst
Brian Sizemore is an Investment Analyst whose primary
responsibility at Kentucky Highlands Investment Corporation is managing the
organization’s Microloan Program. His mission is to foster economic development
across twenty-two counties in Kentucky by utilizing Kentucky Highlands’ loan
programs—such as those offered through the United States Department of
Agriculture (USDA) and the Small Business Administration (SBA)—to assist both
new startups and existing businesses in meeting their financial needs.
In his role, Mr. Sizemore conducts in-depth financial and
investment analyses, evaluates business credit and market risks, and prepares
detailed investment reports to support sound lending and investment decisions.
A significant portion of his work is devoted to providing technical assistance
to portfolio companies and new startups in areas such as business planning,
financial preparation, budgeting, and identifying marketing opportunities.
Mr. Sizemore earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of the Cumberlands and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Accounting. Prior to joining Kentucky Highlands Investment Corporation, he served as a general manager for multiple retail locations and gained extensive experience as a finance and marketing manager, providing him with a strong foundation in business operations, management, and financial strategy.
