Highlands Housing Corporation is celebrating 23 years of service this week – just months after achieving the goal of building 200 homes. But it’s about more than a structure. It’s 200 families and 200 dreams of home ownership, stability and safety.
As the nonprofit lending and construction organization established marks this milestone, it is not a coincidence that Highlands Housing’s founder, KHIC President & CEO Jerry Rickett, was honored this week with induction into the FAHE Hall of Fame. This award celebrates leaders who have dedicated their lives to serving their communities and strengthening the network of FAHE, a nonprofit that helps other Appalachian nonprofits gain access to capital to build housing.
Jerry’s vision and commitment built the foundation of Highlands Housing — and his legacy is building hope, stability and opportunities for hundreds of families.
Congratulations on 23 years of building quality homes, strong partnerships and brighter futures — and to the legacy that makes it all possible.
